Historical Rare Collectible NIDOR LUFTWAFFE Pilots AVIATOR WWII 1940s Military Watch Uhr-Reloj-Montre. This is a circa 1938 LUFTWAFFE Pilots watch used by the Germans in the early part of WWII. The chrome plated hinged case is LARGE, measuring 38 × 44 x 13,5 mm. This manual winding SWISS movement and the original dial on this watch is truly fabulous with large Radium numerals and matching cathedral, blued steel hands and sub-seconds register. The dial is signed D. Which is short for (Deutsches Reichs Patent und Auslandische Patente) being a German patent marking. I installed a new strap that fits for this watch.
Despite the older age of this watch, the condition is. Case size 38 mm without crown, 41 mm with crown. Lugs to lugs 44 mm. A great piece of history for a serious collector!
