Here is a rare WWII CASE Combat Knife. The Navy and Marine Corps standard issue Mark 1 and Mark II were not the only U.Combat Utility sheath knives of WWII. Some resemble the standard patterns or the M3 while others are quite distinctive. This particular one was made by CASE and has a 7 bladed, double-edged dagger with a Mark 1-like handle. It also came with a black-plastic butt. Blade shows much original finish with some light age patina scattered spots. The blade does not show any sharpening, just light wear, use. Beautiful leather grip with a little surface wear in the top center area, cross-guard, pommel, handle and blade are tight with no looseness.
Comes with a leather sheath with a old style button to close on top. See our other Knives and Bayonets at TR-West.
