U. S. WW2 Uniform Ike Jacket Grouping CBI Named RARE Theater Made Patches

Up for sale we have a beautiful WWII uniform grouping from the China-Burma-India theater. Everything in this group belonged to a "Benjamin Lutwick" of Brooklyn New York.

He served with the 129th AACS squadron in the CBI theater of WWII. There are some really stunning items in this group. His Ike jacket has been custom tailored from an early war full length service jacket. Both shoulder patches are beautiful Theater made examples. The CBI patch has a few areas where the bullion thread has popped loose.

Inside the jacket Mr Lutwick has his laundry number sewn in red thread. This number matches his ASN. The other items that come with this group are some personal items he held onto, I believe they came from his scrap book as they show evidence of being removed from a book.

There are five post cards he sent back home from various places he was training at here in the states. His original military ID card is also in this group, and it shows a nice photograph of the veteran himself. In addition to this there is also a photograph of him taken in the CBI theater too. It has a unique CBI theater theme to it. His'Speed Key' certificate is made out of very fragile paper, and the edges are falling apart.

The two Air Force patches came with this group when I originally bought it, I assume he worn them on a standard shirt at some point. They also show signs of coming from a scrap book. Lastly we have his motor vehicle operators permit which allowed him to operate certain types of vehicles while based in Yushan China. Groupings like these dont come along too often. These fantastic pieces of history would make a fine addition to any collection!
