Ext Rare Large WWII US Navy Seabees Jacket Patch Decal on Leather

ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare, large, World War II United States Navy jacket patch for the United States Navy Construction Battalions, CBs, or Seabees. The patch is a decal on leather and is constructed in the same way as a period squadron patch. It reads SEABEES and shows an armed bumblebee wearing a sailor's hat. VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4-7/8 in diameter. MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Decal on leather. ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto a Deck Jacket. ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.
