Painted by US Navy / Coast Guard. Boatswain's mate second class Michael Senich. Mike (Michael) Senich worked as a comic book artist for Quality Comics in the second half of the 1940s.

He illustrated features like'Anthrop','Officer Shenanigan','Prudence','Sir Roger' and'Specks'. Between 1977 and 1982 he was the artist of the'Katzenjammer Kids' Sunday page. Prior to this, he had ghosted the King Features strips'Right Around Home With Myrtle' and'Skippy'. Anchors Aweigh is a 1945 American Technicolor musical comedy film directed by George Sidney and starring Frank Sinatra, Kathryn Grayson, and Gene Kelly, with songs by Jule Styne and Sammy Cahn. In the film, two sailors go on a four-day shore leave in Hollywood, meet a young boy and his aunt, an aspiring young singer, and the sailors try to help her get an audition at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
