ORIGINAL, RARE & VERY GOOD Condition Seesall Flying Goggles Worn Pre-WWII. These are an ORIGINAL pair of the rare "Seesall" ("Eyes For The Skies") brand goggles used by naval aviators before and during WWII. Mick Prodger's fantastic reference book. Describes and pictures these goggles at pages 41 and 193. The googles feature chromed white metal frames with integral streamlined ventilation moldings and a hinged center pin, a single piece grey rubber face cushion, white elasticated strap and "Rockglass" lenses.
There is minor crazing and hardening of the rubber of the cushion, but otherwise these goggles are in VERY GOOD lightly used condition complete with the original cardboard box which shows wear on the edges. A lovely pair of commercially produced goggles that saw use with USN aircrewmen in the pre-WWII period. Here's an opportunity for the goggle collector or re-enactor to obtain an increasingly RARE goggle for the collection or impression of a pre-War naval aviator.
