Original wwll us army usmc early type m1905 bayonet made by Pal dated 1942 with leather P17 scabbard. Scabbard is dated 1917 and in very good condition. The bayonet is engraved with the soldier or marines last name and last 4 of his serial number on the top side of the grips (see pictures).

The original p17 leather scabbard appears to have been painted over once in forest green which is the marine corps green (most likely to seal the leather from the harsh tropical weather which rotts leather fast) so it is very possible this is an authentic marine corps issued bayonet also the blade still shows it was sharpened properly which is also common for marines to have done in the pacific. Get this one while it lasts because it will be gone soon especially at this reasonable price.
