Includes a letter from January 1946 stating that the photos were unclassified/declassified and authorized for release to Cpl. Joseph Laska as wartime souvenirs. The letter is from the 2nd Reconnaissance Squadron, which also operated in the Pacific theater. One of the photos shows the 2nd's "Photo Charting" insignia hanging between palm trees in Palawan.
