Rare Original Vintage Wwii Air Corp Arctic Wolf Fur Mittens Extreme Cold

Scarce and early Air Corps "Arctic" Wolf fur mittens as issued to WWII US Army Air Corps pilots and crews who flew through extreme cold condition to Russia. Nice fur body with OD green leather palms. They are lined with OD wool kersey. Nicely stamped on the left mitten thumb: Inspector No.

This type of mittens were discussed on the QMmuseum website as their article of the month (November 2014) No longer. These mittens are 15in long, by 9in wide (bottom).
