This is a very rare, hard to find patch for the Oregon Women's Ambulance Corps from WWII. The Women's Ambulance Corps was a group that made up for lack of medical and nursing care at the local level during WWII, and trained for future emergencies at both the national and local levels as well. Their training included military drills, first aid, motor mechanics, fire fighting, and more.
