Rare WWII U. S. G. I. M8A1 Scabbard (1st. Type), original issue 1943 U. S. M. C

Here we have a Rare WWII M8A1 Scabbard, used for the M1 carbine lawbayonet. This one is the early war type w/original leg strap. Another treasure from grampy's WWII foot locker. He fought in the battle for Okinawa. This is an actual battle-used artifact from the Pacific War.

It shows signs of normal use/wear with minor damages and rust issues. There are several markings on this scabbard. Front - Stamp on hilt guard - U. Logo - stylized imprint "ST/30".
