Rare WWII USAAF Marks Army Airfield, Nome, Alaska Jacket Patch
Lend-lease aircraft destined for the Soviet Union passed through Marks, and both the USAAF's 404th Bomb Group and 56th Fighter Squadron operated out of Marks. The design of the patch shows a seal on top of a globe. VINTAGE: Circa World War II. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Blue felt patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads with muslin backing. ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces patch collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Patch has minimal wear and one slight spot where felt is gone. GUARANTEE: As with all my items, this piece is guaranteed original.
