REDUCED! Rare 1940's WWII Swedish Army Hot Food Carrier Backpack/Stool Unused

Rare 1940's WW2 WWII Swedish Army Hot Food Carrier Backpack/Stool Scarce, Unused! This is an extremely rare WWII Swedish Army hot food carrier backpack and stool in excellent condition for it's age. It is unused with all leather straps/clasps in good condition, no tears in canvas or insulation, and comes with the original packing paper wrap still intact in many areas (see pictures). Since large cooking pots were heavy to carry, this new type of transportable food container was introduced in 1944, which could be carried on the back and supported by a steel pack frame.

When feeding troops in the field, the meals would be prepared in the food kitchen and carried to another suitable location for the unit to eat, often the front lines. The inner pot was preheated prior to pouring the boiling food into it and the insulated outer canvas covering would keep the food warm for approximately 14 hours, providing a warm meal for the troops, and also double as a stool if needed. It measures 20" in height and 14" in diameter.
