We consider all reasonable offers..... Go ahead and make us one....This could be yours today! The must have addition for any established or beginning cookie jar collection.
Everything about this cookie jar is original. Robinson Ransbottom fired these in 1943 at the height of WWII to enhance support for the war effort. The jars were hand painted with cold paint (non fired paint) on fired bisque with clear glazed interior. This was well cared for! They came in two versions.... 10 3/4in (T) x 7 3/4in (W) x 6 3/4in (D). For its age this is in great condition! Normal signs of paint wear and condition from 70 years of life and use with great character! Inside of lid has a chip which may have occurred during firing but can't say for certain (photo #19). There appears to be a very slight hairline crack and flea bite on rim (photo #23 #24). Photo #23 about 1/4in hairline and 1/8in flea bite. Photo #24 about 1/2in hairline. Couldn't feel anything when touching inside or outside.
