WWII US Army OD Green Canvas Demolition Set Bag or Satchel w/Strap & Rope - Excellent Condition. Up for sale is a WWII US Army OD Green Canvas Demolition Set Bag or Satchel with Strap & Rope. This bag has a large internal pocket with a smaller secondary pocket on the front of the bag.

It has a heavy web strap with an adjustable ring. This strap was used to carry the bag or to secure it to a target.

There is also a length of rope attached to the bag, again to aid in securing the satchel charge to a target. There are also a flat metal hook on the side and bottom of the bag. There are no manufacturers markings or date on the bag.

The bag was treated with a waterproofing coating, which covered any markings. The coating makes the canvas stiff, but still pliable. No rips or tears in the canvas. This not the more common M37 style bag.

This style is hard to find, especially in this condition. The bag is used, please see photos for condition.
